I didnt find something to show a gender icon on the profile page. So I decided to make my own plugin.

here it is:

1. Step: Create a Dropdown field - name it e.g. cb_gender
2. Step: add three values to this field e.g. "male", "female", "dont know"
3. Step: Install this plugin
4. Step: Goto Tabmanager and customize the gendertab (genderfield and values)
5. Step: Publish Gender Plugin
