JQuery and Mootools are popular Javascript frameworks. If you use extensions for your website that use one of these two Javascript frameworks you will have no trouble. But if your extensions use both of these frameworks you may notice some misbehaviour. The problem with using Mootools and jQuery together is that they have some identically named functions and namespaces which means they conflict with each other.

As an example you will notice types of misbehavioir when you use the Seyret video component and the Clexus notification mambot. Seyret will not work when the Clexus mambot and Seyret are published at the same time.

This problem can be solved by modifying on of the two frameworks. I have completed this modification in mootools. You can download the modified version in the download area.
